Due to the unique terroir of the Canary Islands, Suertes del Marques boasts of ungrafted vines that are over 100 years old. El Lance translates to "the side" which denotes the area where the vineyards are located. This is a red that is constanly changing. The wine has notes of young blackberry, tart black cherry and pepper. The wine has fine tannins and a mineral, dry finish.
