The Paulo de Tebas vineyard is 500 feet above the Douro River in northern Portugal. Mateus uses organic and biodynamic practices as well as native fermentation in concrete (no use of oak). This yields a dry wine with aromas of ripe Golden Delicious apples, jasmine flowers, and clementines.
