Maguey Melate Pichomel from Noel Negrellos Ortega was originally released as the January 2023 Mezcalero of the Month Club agave spirit, the remaining bottles were purchased by CoolVines exclusively. Made from 10 to 15-year-old Pichomel, ground by hand, Noel distills in copper using water high in salt. Noel’s Palenque is located about 15 minutes from one of the oldest salt mines in the Americas.
