Gomez Cruzado is one of the oldest wineries in Rioja, founded in 1886. This reserva is a blend of 60 percent Tempranillo and 40 percent Garnacha, aged in used French oak for two years. The Garnacha imparts glistening black fruits to the vanilla/clove/cinnamon sheen from the barrels, this is a traditionally made RIoja with modern sensibility.
