Luscious and fresh on the palate, balanced acidity and strong varietal character. Radical has a structure more like an Italian red, with bright sour cherry fruit, herbal notes, rose petal, liquorice and dark plum flavours, full acidity and moderately firm tannins – not unlike Nebbiolo. It is unquestionably a wine that needs food.
