Barrique refers to the small oak barrel of 225 liter capacity which is traditionally used in Bordeaux to age the wines. This 100 percent Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma is aged in 30 percent new oak which imparts vanilla/clove aromas along with some tannins.
