In 2015, Bertrand Gourdou found an old label while searching through his grandfather's desk. The label was made in the early 1970's and read "Le pot-de-vin" which translated means "to the bribe". Back then It was a daring play on words. This inspired Bertrand to make simple natural wines made from biodynaimcally grown fruit, minimal SO2, and in concrete tanks built by his grandfather. His Pot de Vin Blanc is 100% chardonnay. The wine is full bodied with a round finish. This isn't like your typical oak bomb chardonnay. This wine sees no oak and is vinified in concrete vats. It has notes of pineapple core, green apple, and lemon zest. Great with striped sea bass and grilled vegetables!
