Amatiteña's "Origen" Blanco takes you back to the early roots of tequila production. Estate-grown tequila at a notably higher (and more traditional) ABV than their core blanco, jumping up to 49%. The most prominent flavor, mesquite wood smoke, comes from the fact that the agave is cooked in a mesquite wood-fired oven (instead of steamed). Other tasting notes include burnt marshmallow, lemon zest, star anise, menthol, dried cherries, and grilled pineapple.
