A fascinating find from the island of Zankythos in western Greece. Avgoustiatis is a wine with ripe, slightly dried fruit flavors, nice chewy tannins and a wonderful streak of acidity. A pleasure to drink on its own, this would pair very nicely with grilled lamb.
