The steep "Damned Mountain" of the village of Chavignol is the most-celebrated vineyard site in Sancerre. The wines produced here have significant more concentration and depth than what you might expect from the famed appellation. A portion of the wine is aged in old oak to aid in its complexity. Intensely mineral and powerful.
