South Australia is home to some of the oldest Grenache vines in the world, planted on sandy soils in direct sunlight (two things the grape loves.) The vines here date back to the 1940s, and produce a wonderful, Mediterranean-tinged red with fine tannins, crunchy red berry fruit and balanced acidity. A tremendous value!
