Founded in 1978, Controvento is a small winery from Abruzzo. The vineyard itself spanss 5 hectares just off the Adriatic Sea. The wine is certified organic and 100% natural with no chemicals, no cellar additions, or any sulfites. the wines are unfiltered unrefined and spontaneuously ferment. The Doccia Fredda in particular is named so as it means Cold Shower. .
